Bistro Dom – Adelaide

A lovely little French restaurant in Adelaide city that really does resemble a sausage…thin long room with tables along one side…really cute! The menu is really simple with lots of little small tasting plates to share. However they also do have the traditional French dishes if you have cravings for those – Cote de boeuf and Confit of duck leg to name a few…Great restaurant – will go back.

Pan fried scallops with speck and cauliflower puree – really enjoyed the scallops – thick and succulent and perfectly cooked. The cauliflower puree as a perfect combination for it.

Buffalo mozzarella, tomato and white anchovies – Loved the mozzarella and the different types of tomatoes. Very nice.

Roasted beetroot with speck and woodside goats curd

Ox tongue with green tomato relish – Best dish of the night. The tongue was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfect flavour…yum.

Apricot soufflé with vanilla bean ice-cream – perfectly cooked soufflé…
