Tank Restaurant – Brisbane

by Suha on March 27, 2011

Tank is the new kid on the block. It opened in November 2010 in Santos Place in Brisbane city and chef Alastair McLeod has developed a Japanese inspired menu. The wine list is stunning and we had some sensational Pinots and Sauterns on this night.

Sancho seared scallops, grilled calamari, grains, roasted melon – the scallops were thick and juicy and well cooked

P1050782

Crisp and mallee smoked duck, fig jam, shiso and radish salad – the glass was lifted and the smoked aromas were beautiful. Well cooked duck and the duck tempura was very nice

Saucing the duck

Sashimi and sushi platter – the scallop sashimi was the stand out

P1050788
