Manly Pavilion – Manly – Sydney

Fine dining Italian cuisine right on the water front where the ferries come in at Manly – What a spot! Great views and great Italian menu. There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu but being a work day lunch – settled for a pasta dish. The duck and lamb and veal on the next table did look amazing though…I liked some of the dishes we had but not all. Could have been what we ordered so I hear from others that it may be worth another visit.

Crisp pigs tail, toasted bread, currents, sorrel and mushrooms – this was my fav of the night. Nice and crisp and strong flavors.

Thinly sliced raw veal, egg, faro and parmesan – a bit bland and lacked flavors to me

Pickled celeriac parcels, cavolo nero and chilli

Sedanini, pork and fennel sausage, chicory and chilli – liked the fennel flavor through the dish. Nice one

Pappardelle, wild boar ragu and mascarpone

Rhubarb curd, meringue, yogurt

Chocolate peanut caramel ice cream. This was yum. Ice cream covered with caramel and chocolate sauce and nuts.
