Bellacharra – Gerringong – South of Sydney

The Bella restaurant at the Bellacharra hotel in Gerringong has recently won the award for the best restaurant in a hotel. Chef Dudley Wood ex Café Sydney has recenly taken over and the menu is comtemporary Australian. Pretty good food and amazingly reasonable prices, nice hotel and a great day spa..this is a great place to stay.



Smoked ocean trout cannelloni with fresh baby spinach, tomato and basil vinaigette


Baked blue eye cod in all puff pastry with creamed leeks, minted peas and lime juice


100 day grain fed beef fillet, chive and mascarpone polenta, glazed baby vegetables with a cab sav jus


Chocolate whisky and raisin cake with ice cream – really nice and warm and rich cake


White chocolate and vanilla bean bavarois, raspberry and orange blossom compote with honeycomb
